Our Staff
Michelle Sobek is the owner of Muddy Paws Boarding and Grooming in Alpena.
She is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, caring for the animals in Herron, MI and the spark that got our organization off the ground.
Mike Sobek is the muscle of our organization. He designed and built our facility in Herron, MI.
As a board member, he is
invaluable to our organization.
Karen Savage is a federally
licensed songbird rehabilitator.
She will be sharing responsibilities for hand rearing the baby birds
we receive for rehabilitation.
Kathy Crandall is the Lead Volunteer/Coordinator for
Nature's Kingdom. Kathy travels
hours to retrieve and
rescue some of our patients.
Michelle Farrar, an expert at squirrel handling and care, works under the licensed direction of Michelle Sobek helping to rear baby squirrels (aka:kits) until healthy and old enough to be released back into the wild.
Sarah Curley is an Oscoda, Michigan native. Over the last few years, she has developed a love and respect for wildlife rehabilitation. Her passion is in squirrels and bottle babies.
